Ubuntu Glyph Wallpaper

Here’s a wallpaper inspired by ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Its made to look like an old papyrus scroll with tux taking centre stage among the Egyptian gods.

Ubuntu Ancient Wallpaper

My second attempt at creating a wallpaper.

Now this is not exactly a showcase of my creativity. I followed the photoshop tutorial by Christina Angeles @ photoshoptutorials.ws. So thanks to her.


Anyways, I made a few little changes of my own to the wallpaper and here are the results. I've only uploaded the three resolutions, 1440x900, 1680x1050 and 1920x1200.

My first attempt at a wallpaper design. Not really much I know.

I was attempting to create an urban graffiti look on a metal grill. The grill image was obtained from here.
